Dangerously Delicious Date and Almond Butter

Nut butter addicts, if your trying to lay off before the holidays hit, you should probably leave now because its about to get tasty in here.

I came home today with a whole lot of shopping and not a whole lot of shelf space (cupboard space is not really our apartments thing, one day I will post a picture of the only storage cupboard in this apartment its literally 15cm deep with no shelves).  So in short I had to clear some stuff out.

What I realised is that I am very bad at buying things we already have open. In this case there was a huge box for dates with only six left (I  had two more packets in my shopping bag) and two half empty jars of almond butter (with one more in the bag) oops!

So what did I do? Blended it together. Duh

And it was amazing. Just in case you where wondering. I was gooey and nutty with just the right amount of sweetness, if your a fan of nut butter and sweet fruit this is very recommended.

And i managed to get all of that down to one jar…. sort of…. Also I feel like I should elaborate on the photos being near the glass doors all the time, the light in out kitchen is really very bad for photos.

Dangerously Delicious Date and Almond Butter

Ingredients

150 grams Almond Butter
6 Medjool Dates
1/3 Cups Almond Milk
1 tbs Maple Syrup

Method

Dump it all in a processor and blend!

You may have to stop the processor and scrap it off the sides or the blade once in a while because it will probably stick at some point but keep it going until there are no big chunks of date left.

Aaaand theen.

Eat it straight out of the processor. Or if your like me and you now have two empty jars, put it all in one of those for later.

So now that I have some extra space sorted in my pantry, does anyone have any tips on how I can better plan my grocery shopping?
